Baby Elijah is having open heart surgery today - send up some prayers for him and his family - most of us unfortunately know how hard it is to hand over your little one.

everyone is so loving and caring....supportive...
it is the BEST support system in the world!
OMG...
I sure wish I had known of other heart families when we were going thru that living hell with Matthew ...
we were so alone ... and we didn't know of one family that had gone thru this kind of thing ...
yes, we met other families in the hospital.. but then we watched so many babies not make it...
the hospital world was a scary one...
I wish I had belonged to CHIN and knew of you all two years ago...
It would have been so helpful and comforting.
I had never even heard of a BLOG before Matthew!
